1. Outline and principle
This is an automatic system that irradiates a laser beam from the tip of a probe inserted inside the pipe on the inner surface of the pipe and the internal bore, and accurately measures the decrease in wall thickness and expanding corrosion from the reflected laser beam.

3. Accuracy
Laser accuracy is ±0.02 mm and error in measurement pitch, remaining wall thickness value calculations, pipe flatness and outside surface corrosion is approximately ±0.2 mm from the aspect of the system.
